Services

At Texas Turf we have years of experience with some of the biggest private erosion control, construction landscape jobs, in the Metroplex and the surrounding area. Below are the services we offer in the Fort Worth and greater Barnet Shale areas:

Hydro-mulching:

This is a process of mixing water, seed, and mulch fiber to create a slurry mixture that can be sprayed for application. There are many advantages of this including: achieving vegetative growth over a vast area of land that would otherwise be costly to lay sod or other vegetation over; by having water and fertile in the mixture, a quick growth can be achieve to help slow soil erosion; before hydromulching the soil can be graded to a smooth perfect finish to create a golf course-like look. A number of seeds can be used in the Hydromulch mixture including rye, Bermuda, fescue, and wild/native grass mixes. We also have bonded fiber Hydromulch mixtures for extreme conditions and slopes. This process is the equivalent of spray a liquid erosion control blanket on the ground.

Erosion Control:

Texas Turf has performed almost every erosion control process used in this region of the country. We have the ability to install silt fence, erosion blankets, hydro-mulch, drill seeding, broadcast seeding, erosion logs of all variations, and rock check dams. Some of the leading energy producers in the country trust us for their erosion control needs. With our erosion control expert and owner Jason Cogburn available full time for consultation; we can fix almost any erosion control problem that may come up.

Seeding:

We can seed almost any variety of seed by any means necessary. We can plant by hydro-mulch, drill seed, or broadcast seed. Depending on the need and location we can use a rye, winter rye, any Bermuda variation, any fescue variation, wild flower mixes, and native grass mixes. Whether it is a front yard of a residence or the side of the highway, we have the seed and application process to meet anyone's needs.

Landscape:

With a degree in Landscape Architecture, our lead designer and construction manager Ryan Pipkin is available full time to meet any of your needs. With experience in all phases and types of landscape applications we have the experience and knowledge to fulfill any of your wants and needs from design to construction. We currently offer landscape installation, maintenance, hand watering, sodding, irrigation, and monitoring of all types.

Texas turf has multiple full sized landscape crews to hand any landscape job in the area. With long-term contracts with multiple energy companies, we have the experience needed to get the job done correct and keep your site looking good in the public eye.

Irrigation:

We have a licensed irrigator on staff and have done some of the biggest irrigation jobs in the area in recent years. With experience doing this in some of the harshest and demanding environments in the metroplex, there is no irrigation project we cannot install or fix. Between working around the heavy equipment, dodging pipelines, and using solar controllers because electricity is too far away, we can get it done.

We recently added Boyce Albritton and full heavy duty construction crew to our company. This crew has a lot of experience in major dirt work and grading project specifically in the energy field. With jobs ranging from pipeline rights-of-way to frac pond, we are now your go to company for any of your construction needs.
